The The Little Steps Difference
We are committed to providing a safe, stimulating, and supporting environment, where the children can explore and discover the world, gain problem-solving, co-operative learning, and social skills, preparing themselves for an increasingly digital world through a conventional classroom experience.
facility
Our facility is carefully setup to serve as inspiration for children’s explorations. Our environment also serves as an inspiration for designing our curriculum and activities. We believe that the environment is a “third teacher”. Unlike the typical preschool learning centers, each classroom area is built to highlight tools children and teachers can utilize to further their study of a topic and test hypotheses.
Brightwheel
Brightwheel is our account management app to allow us to seamlessly manage parent communication, attendance, payments etc. Brightwheel kiosk is used for check-in/checkout and the Brightwheel app for Android/iOS will be used for parent communication, health/status updates and sharing photos/videos.
You can use your Brightwheelapp to make automated ACH transfers through the app for the tuition fees. We also continue to take checks, so please confirm your mode of payments with us. We do not support payments through credit-cards at this time.
Safety and Security
At Little Steps, we make your child’s health and safety our top priority. Our standards are the highest in the industry, meeting or exceeding all local and state guidelines. Our preschool center includes:
- Supervision to keep children within sight and sound
- Secured entrance/exits to all buildings
- CCTV monitoring of all indoor and outdoor areas
- Nightly cleaning of all surfaces including toys, child furnishings, restroom and other spaces
- Strict COVID related processes, practices and procedures
- Curriculum that emphasizes healthy practices for children
COVID Measures
We are committed to providing high quality and safe environment for our children during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We are continuously monitoring the latest developments in and around our community. As more information becomes available, we are adapting and making changes to our safety measures and protocols. We are also following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Child Care Licensing Department (CCLD), County Health Department and other government organizations.
Updated policies and protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 include:
- Mask mandates for parents during drop-off and pick-up
- Temperature/wellness check for children and staff at arrival and during the day
- Strict illness policy, requiring 72 hours symptom/medication free for children and family members
- Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces including toys, child furnishings, restroom areas, and food spaces
- Strict social distancing, mask, PPE hygiene at all times, including food and naptimes
- Small group-size and teacher-child ratio
